
Musical Director – Rhiannon Harrison
Rhiannon Harrison is a freelance trombonist, performing with a variety of ensembles across the UK. Rhiannon is a Licentiate of Trinity College London, and graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with first class honours in 2019. Rhiannon grew up through the National Youth Arts Wales ensembles, and was a member of the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales from 2010, the National Youth Orchestra of Wales from 2012 and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Wales for 2014. She maintains a busy freelancing career of pit work and orchestral engagements, including playing for the Kaleidoscope Orchestra at events such as Gatecrasher Classical and Cream Classical. In September 2019, Rhiannon became the musical director of the Worsley Concert Band, and following her appointment joined the board of Making Music in 2020, to help support leisure-time music in the UK.
